Can I Print my Scanned Photos?

Scanning one photo at a time with proper focus and framing usually produces the best results for photo prints and enlargements.

Follow the guide below to improve print quality from your scans.

1. Scan carefully for the best print results

To get clear, good-looking prints, start with a good scan.

Keep these simple tips in mind:

  • Scan one photo at a time.
  • Hold your phone close to the photo, but make sure it stays clear and sharp.
  • Make sure all four corners of the photo appear inside the app’s frame before scanning. This helps keep the correct size and shape for printing.

Good to know: You can print the photo larger than the original, but making it much bigger may cause it to look blurry.

2. Save your photos and print them

When you’re finished scanning:

  1. Save the photos to your phone or computer.
  2. Send them to:
    • Your home printer, or
    • A local or online print shop (by email or USB drive).

You can print regular photo copies, or turn your memories into photo books, wall art, greeting cards, and special gifts to share with family and friends.
