How do I Scan The Back of a Printed Photo?

Many printed photos have little treasures on the back — names, dates, places, tiny notes. Photomyne lets you save all of that so nothing gets lost.

Here’s how to scan both sides of your photo.

1. First, scan the front like you always do

  • Open the Photomyne app.
  • Scan the front of your printed photo.

2. Now add the back of the photo

There are two different ways:

  • While scanning, tap the folded page icon at the top of the screen.
  • For already scanned photos: Go to the image in the album you wish to scan the back of. Tap “What's the story of this photo?” and then tap Scan back.

Want to see the back later? Here’s where to find it

  • Open your album.
  • Tap the relevant photo.
  • Tap the folded corner icon at the top-right of the photo to flip it digitally.

A few helpful things to know

  • The back will live within that photo’s details, right where you’d expect it.
  • If you forget to scan the back the first time, don’t worry — you can always come back and add it later.
