Guess the historical figure

Who am I?

I am an Irish novelist and poet, born in Dublin in 1882. My most famous work is a novel published in 1922, exactly 100 years ago! If I told you the book's name, guessing my identity may be too easy. All I can tell is I wrote it in my unique stream-of-consciousness style that made me famous and influential in the literary world.

A touch of Sharpy

Like two peas in a pod

"This is my husband Steve Brine on his second birthday. His mother gave me this photo when our daughter Keri was two, over forty years ago. She used to look just like her dad! I scanned and shared the photo with our family to celebrate Steve's sixty-seventh birthday."

Sharpy is a feature allowing you to unblur grainy or lower-quality photos – try it yourself!

Balancing a big tray on your head is difficult enough, but the stakes are much higher when it holds your morning snack for the week!

Family flashback

Go fly a kite!

Any big sister knows that if she wants her little brother to be good at something, she has to teach him herself, no matter how annoying he gets! Just ask this young expert who is Florida's most patient kite coach.

Pep talk

It doesn't matter how many times these pilots have flown an aircraft, a briefing before takeoff is always helpful and reassuring.

Forever isn't long enough

"These are my in-laws Marie and Tom Cottrell, on their beautiful wedding in New York, February 1941. I love using the app! I've already scanned and colorized many family photos, and there are many more to go."
