Now it’s time to share those special moments with the people that helped create them and those that will help pass along your legacy. Fortunately, you have plenty of options to choose from so you can tell the stories that made you.
Colorize your black-and-white photos
As you look through decades of cherished memories, both yours and our family's, you are likely to stumble across some decades-old black-and-white photos. While charming in their own right, wouldn’t you like to really see what your grandparents looked like on their wedding day in 1941? With the black-and-white colorization feature, our incredible AI will take those old photos and magically bring them to life as you’ve never seen before. Grandma will be stunned to see her younger self in full color again.
Once you select an image, tap the Colorize icon in the top right corner then hit 'Colorize this photo' when prompted to reveal your colorized image.
Stunning slideshows
When it comes to presenting your scanned memories, a slideshow can be your best friend as a stunning display of the past. You select the photos - perhaps with a theme, or as a memorial, or in celebration of someone - and we’ll do the rest. The new and improved slideshow maker will put your photos together in your chosen order ready to be shared. You can also add music, a title, and change the play speed for an even more dynamic experience to share with your loved ones.
After selecting 'Share' from within an album and selecting your photos, tap the 'Slideshow' icon to get started. You can either play the slideshow as is, or press the 'three-dots' icon to customize it to your liking.
Family Account
Telling your family history is such a significant piece of saving your old photos. They can all live together in one convenient place for your family to add, share, archive, remember, and enjoy. A Family Account is an additional upgrade within the Photo Scan app for subscribers to add, edit, and comment on photos and albums together in a web gallery. All of your family members can now be a part of sharing your joint legacy.

Easily email-able
Looking for the quickest way to share your scanned photos? Simply select all of the photos you’d like to share - it could be a whole album or a hand-picked collection from one or multiple albums - and tap the Email option under Share. All of your chosen images will be added to a dedicated gallery which you can send to your friends and family as a web link in an email for them to enjoy.
Creative collages
Having trouble choosing just one photo of your adorable newborn baby to send to your parents? Then don’t. You can choose up to 6 photos to add to a collage which the app will beautifully arrange for you. Collages make for great gifts and keepsakes to highlight a special moment or person in your life.

Share a photo with its story
Telling the story behind your photos doesn’t stop with scanning them. Once they are saved in an album, adding a detailed description will help ensure you never forget the who, what, when, where, and why. When saving your annotated photos to your phone, you have the option to bring the details along for the ride. If you select Save with added details, your description will appear as a caption underneath the image on your device. Now you can send it to your relatives without hours of follow-up questions.
