Voice control to capture
We know you only have two hands. Unless you are scanning with a friend, it can be tough to hold a slide and your phone AND capture the image. That's why you now have the power of voice control to scan your slides more simply.
Fumbling and frustration are old news. With hands-free image capturing, you can concentrate on aligning the slide and your phone for the perfect scan. All it takes is a simple command of "Go!" and your slide will scan and save safely in your album.
You just took the time to scan boxes worth of slides. Don't you deserve a chance to look at all of your photos comfortably and without interruption or hassle? With the new slideshow feature, you can do exactly that.
From within your album, you can play all of your photos in a continuous slideshow. Too slow for your liking? You can swipe through the items instead so you can review all your memories at your own pace.
Casting to TV
Your photos look stunning now that they've been scanned to your albums. You've started to look through them in a slideshow, but what better way to show off your collection of memories than on the big screen? Your album is ready to be cast to your smart TV or streaming device.
After hitting the 'Play' button within your album, your slideshow will start. To cast it to your TV, press the TV icon in the upper right corner. You'll then see an explanation on how to mirror your device to the TV. Once connected, your slideshow will project onto the big screen so all of your friends and family don't need to crowd around your smartphone to see your photos.
New languages supported
Lastly, we're happy to announce that the SlideScan app is now supported in 15 languages. Supported languages include:
- Chinese - Simplified
- Chinese - Traditional
