"The girl in the photo is me at 4 (1954) at a model street market which functioned for several years near to our home. I loved going there with my mom for the fresh fruit and vegetables we bought every week. Here in Brazil, the tradition of cooking from the scrap is still the norm. My mom was the family photographer and throughout the years she built up quite a collection. Two years ago, I downloaded Photomyne to scan ALL the photos I could put my hands on to digitalize everything, including photos from my husband’s family and of all my relatives. To this date, I have digitalized more than 1200 photos but I still have a long way to go…"
