Family fun day
"This is from June 1980 and was taken with a cheap instamatic camera. The colors had faded but Photomyne made it look better than it did in 1980! My husband (in white shirt) and I lived in North Carolina at the time. My brother (newly graduated from high school) drove my mom and dad down from Minnesota to visit. We lived near Greenfield Gardens and decided that would be a good place to show off and enjoy a picnic! I took the photo and found this copy among my mom’s photos. Both she and dad have passed on, but I scanned it so I can share it with other family members because it’s such a natural picture of them. Their visit to North Carolina was wonderful and this picture brought back many good memories."
