Scanning photos with Photomyne is fast and addictive - which means your device storage can fill up quickly.
With Save Device Storage, your photos stay safely stored in your Photomyne account while freeing up space on your phone.
Turn on Save Device Storage
- Open the app.
- Tap the three lines (top-left corner).
- Tap Settings.
- Turn on Save Device Storage, then enable Active Space Saving.
Once enabled, photos that are safely backed up to your Photomyne account can be removed from your device to free up space.
Your memories stay safe in your account - without taking up space on your phone.

Save Device Storage is currently available for members using Photo Scan by Photomyne.
If you’re using another Photomyne app - like SlideScan, FilmBox, or Colorize - you can copy your scans into Photo Scan by Photomyne, our all-in-one app where you can organize photos into albums, tag them, and manage everything in one place.
How to copy photos to Photo Scan by Photomyne
- Tap the Share icon at the bottom of the main screen.
- Select the photos you want to copy.
- Tap Copy to Photomyne.
- Follow the instructions in the app.
Your photos will automatically appear as a new album in Photo Scan by Photomyne.
